All members of Penumbra’s Board are Trustees for the purposes of charity law, with overall responsibility for its activities.
The Board meets several times a year and is supported by three committees: Finance, Risk & Audit Committee, People, Quality & Improvement Committee and Remuneration Committee.
|Trisha (Patricia) Hall (Chair)
Trisha has worked with and for children and families for over 30 years. She has worked in the voluntary sector since 2003 and is the Manager of the Scottish Association of Social Work (SASW).
|Laura Reid (Treasurer)
Laura started her career in the NHS as an analyst and now holds a senior position within SIMUL8 Corporation (an organization that develops dynamic and innovative analytics software).
Frances is a Senior Health Improvement Programme Officer at NHS Health Scotland. She previously worked for NHS Lothian and Scottish Borders Council in health improvement roles.
Alison is the Chief Executive of Alcohol Focus Scotland. She previously worked as a policy adviser to Scottish Ministers and for the UK Research Councils, including seven years in their European Office in Brussels, latterly as Director.
Alistair leads on national policy development within the Scottish Government for digital health & care. He is currently seconded from the NHS to the Joint Improvement Team.
Brian has spent his working life in banking and investment management, primarily in product, project and relationship management roles. In his latter roles he spent a great deal of time travelling internationally.
John is an experienced and accomplished teacher and school leader who has been instrumental in the rapid improvement of several inner city schools in Leeds. John has recently relocated to Scotland to study for an MSc in Education at the University of Edinburgh.
Colin’s professional career to date has been in healthcare settings, including working in NHS organisations across Scotland and England, and at the Scottish Government. He is currently Director of Strategic Planning at NHS Lothian.
Deb is an experienced Human Resources professional within the Financial Services sector. For the past 15 years she has worked for JPMorgan as a senior HR Business Partner.
After training as a Chartered Accountant, Niall has spent over 25 years working in consumer goods and technology in a broad range of organisations, leading finance, strategic and operational roles.
