DAILY RECORD - SAVE OUR KIDS APPEAL
In 2003 the Scottish Daily Record raised funds for Penumbra through their ‘Save Our Kids’ Appeal. The Appeal was set up in response to the soaring numbers of young Scots attempting or committing suicide. By working together, Penumbra and the Daily Record
have raised over £150,000 and also increased the profile of mental health issues amongst
the
general public. We are very grateful to the readers of the Daily Record for their support.

All funds raised are being used to expand our support services for young people experiencing distresss and new projects are underway in Fife, West Lothian and Aberdeen. More will follow in other areas of Scotland.  Penumbra's partnership with the Daily Record has now finished, but we continue to welcome donations to spefically help fund our Young People Services.

It’s easy to make a donation: contact Penumbra's Fundraising Dept on 0131 475 2380.
Alternatively, why not organise your own event, we can provide you with fundraising packs
with lots of ideas for local, fun activities.
