Sharon’s Forth Bridge fundraiser

Sharon Webster is a Penumbra Recovery Worker from our Fife team. She wanted to do something to highlight the work we do across Scotland, so she’s only gone and organised a fundraising walk across the iconic Forth Road Bridge. This epic team are a mix of colleagues and people who access our Dunfermline service. If you’d like to support these fearless fundraisers, check out their fundraising page. If they’ve inspired you to do your own fundraiser, find out all the ways you can get involved. Or if you’re at a loose end, why not join them on their walk? Drop a line to communications@penumbra.org.uk for all the info.

Who’s in the team so far?

Sharon Webster, Recovery Worker: although I am on the hospital list for two new knees, I’m going to try at least one length of the bridge for Penumbra charity. LOL. Love my job
Andrea Gardner, Recovery Practitioner: Andrea joined our team early this year. She has fitted in like a glove and is a great addition to the Dunfermline team.
Ann Parkinson, Recovery Worker: Ann has been with the team for over three years. She loves the outdoors and was keen to take part in the event. In fact, she’s already completed a trial walk for the team over the Forth Road bridge.
Mike Burns, Chief Exec: he’s only been in the door five minutes and already we’ve got him putting his hiking boots on. Our new chief is joining us on our walk

We’re gradually adding new team members as we get images so keep your peepers on our socials for all the updates.
