|Penumbra seeking a recovery worker within our supported living services based in the Scottish Borders.
We are Scotland’s leading Mental Health Charity, providing a range of person centred support services across Scotland for over 1000 adults and young people.
Penumbra’s Supported Living services offer personalised and flexible support to people who are living in their own home. Our staff, work across the Borders area and offer recovery focused, practical and emotional support that is based on the individual needs and goals of each person.
We are looking for people within Borders area and specifically in Berwickshire, who have a passion for making a difference, who can offer hope and positivity to the people we support. We offer an innovative and creative team environment, any experience of working in a supportive and enabling role would be welcome, however, this is not essential as full training can be given.
Recovery Workers work in small collaborative teams to provide people with recovery focused support to enhance their mental wellbeing. In line with Penumbra’s values, Recovery Workers assist people who use the service to work towards their individual outcomes and identified goals, as detailed in their personal plan.
