Penumbra employs over 450 staff across Scotland, including Peer Workers, Recovery Workers, Recovery Practitioners, Managers and Relief Staff.

Day to day management of the organisation is the responsibility of the Directorate, who are accountable to the Board of Trustees. The Directorate comprises – Chief Executive, Director of Corporate Services and Director of Services and Innovation.

Our services are structured around three operational areas – North, East and West Scotland. Each area has a dedicated Area Manager, based in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow respectively. Along with the three Area Managers the Head of People, Head of Finance, Head of Innovation and Improvement and Head of Business Development form the senior managers group with the Directorate.
