All members of Penumbra’s Board are Trustees for the purposes of charity law, with overall responsibility for its activities.

The Board meets several times a year and is supported by three committees: Finance, Risk & Audit Committee, People, Quality & Improvement Committee and Remuneration Committee.

Trisha Hall

Trisha (Patricia) Hall (Chair)

Trisha has worked with and for children and families for over 30 years. She has worked in the voluntary sector since 2003 and is the Manager of the Scottish Association of Social Work (SASW).

Laura Reid

Laura Reid (Treasurer)

Laura started her career in the NHS as an analyst and now holds a senior position within SIMUL8 Corporation (an organization that develops dynamic and innovative analytics software).

Louise Goodlad

Louise is Senior Head of Partnerships with The Prince’s Trust. She is an experienced fundraising professional with over 14 years fundraising experience in the third sector.

Craig Hamilton

Craig’s career has been focused on business development, sales management, recruitment consultancy and operational positions. He has experience working with, and supporting, people with mental health issues.

 

Alistair Hodgson

Alistair Hodgson

Alistair leads on national policy development within the Scottish Government for digital health & care. He is currently seconded from the NHS to the Joint Improvement Team.

Brian Small

Brian Small

Brian has spent his working life in banking and investment management, primarily in product, project and relationship management roles. In his latter roles he spent a great deal of time travelling internationally.

Angus MacFarlane

Angus is currently an Interim Director of Change. He is passionate about delivering into the voluntary sector and has worked for a number of years in India and Brazil with LEPRA (Leprosy Charity) and other charities.

 

Colin Briggs

Colin Briggs

Colin’s professional career to date has been in healthcare settings, including working in NHS organisations across Scotland and England, and at the Scottish Government. He is currently Director of Strategic Planning at NHS Lothian.

Deb Giles

Deb Giles

Deb is an experienced Human Resources professional within the Financial Services sector. For the past 15 years she has worked for JPMorgan as a senior HR Business Partner.

Niall Stirling

Niall Stirling

After training as a Chartered Accountant, Niall has spent over 25 years working in consumer goods and technology in a broad range of organisations, leading finance, strategic and operational roles.
