Our team can offer you psychological interventions if you’re experiencing mild mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and low mood.
How does the service work?
We can offer sessions on a one to one basis and through friendly group workshops. We can also connect you to computerised cognitive behavioural therapy (cCBT), which you can do at home in your own time with structured guidance from our team. We approach our work in a compassionate and non-judgemental way, and so if you want to explore ways to improve your mental wellbeing please ask your GP about a referral into our friendly team.
How can I access the service?
To access our service in Aberdeen City, you need to be aged 16 and over, and no longer in secondary education. Please ask your GP about a referral.
What makes this a partnership service?
The service is funded through a partnership with the NHS. The day to day running of the service is led by Penumbra Mental Health’s team of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and we also work closely with local mental health teams.
