Our team covers the Edinburgh and the Lothians areas. The service is split into two teams. One is for adults aged 18 and over, and the other is for young people aged between 11 and 18. Referrals are from the Cullen Centre and CAMHS.
About the adult team
Our adult team are here to support people aged 18 and over. Our Peer Practitioners work alongside the NHS Lothian (Adult) Eating Disorder Team. Our Peer Practitioners will focus on providing one to one support, and leading on the facilitation of wellbeing workshops for people accessing support, friends, and family members.
They will support people through three stages:
- At times of crisis and/or distress
- Ongoing support for between 6 and 12 individual sessions
- Providing a clear and structured ending
About the young people team
Our young people team are here to support people aged between 11 and 18. Our Peer Practitioners work alongside the NHS Lothian (CAMHS) Eating Disorder Team. How to refer someone for support
Our service is by referral from the Cullen Centre or CAMHS. Please contact our team if you’d like to learn more or refer someone for support.
